Mia Tindall showed off the sporty genes that she has clearly inherited from her mum and dad today as she enjoyed trampoline jumping at the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park.

With her mum Zara Tindall being a British equestrian and her father Mike Tindall being a former rugby player, Mia was bound to have a sporty side.

The nine-year-old, who is the couple's eldest child, appeared excited as she joined in the activity during the fun-filled day on August 4. As well as being a day dedicated to equestrians, it boasts a section for family-fun activities, which is where Mia, her sister and cousins spent most of the day.

Mia, who has two younger siblings, sported comfy attire - and some adorable pink socks - as she got to grips on the trampoline.

The young royal looked happy as she smiled and laughed, spinning upside-down on the ropes.

During the day, Mia was also spotted laughing with 12-year-old Savannah, showing off the sweet bond between the royal cousins.

The two girls were also joined by Zara Tindall and Princess Anne, as well as Mia's sister Lena, five, and Savannah's sister Isla, 11.

Mia's younger brother, two-year-old Lucas and her father, Mike Tindall didn't appear to be present.

The prestigious event, which appeared to be a girls day out for the royals, was held at Anne's royal estate and is currently in its 28th year.

The course used for the event was designed by Princess Anne, who herself is known for her keen interest in horse riding.

The three-day event encompasses a host of different cross-country phases, dressage and show jumping.

Today, which marked the first day of the event, Zara was spotted getting into the action as she was riding around the course.

Making the event a true fashion affair, Zara's brother Peter Phillips, and Anne's ex-husband, Captain Mark Phillips run things for the event behind the scenes.

Zara Tindall previously expressed her pride in Savannah and Isla, telling PEOPLE magazine that "both my nieces ride, and they're really into it at the moment."
